Hey fuckers. I've decided to simplify this tek considerably. When I first wrote it in was far to conceres with packing in nutrition. My revised version will be just grain and coir. Keep an eye out for it.

There's more than enough nutrition in the grain. The real focus should be on providing enough water. By keeping it simple. It will be much easier to see consistent results. The prep will shorter as well.I thought about doing this a long time ago but was just too lazy.
I'm not back yet.between my intervenes meth habit and my divorce. I'm in no position to start a grow just yet. I just figured I'd check in.

Damn, I'm sorry to hear about both of those issues, Muda. I hope you can get through your divorce and kick your meth habit.

Hell yea, I have been linking people to this tek for awhile.
Your new conclusions about the nutrients confirm what I was thinking too.

Rye or wheat are my top choices but I'll use anything that isn't too oily.

Grain and coir
Thank you Muda for giving us this amazing TEK. All the fuckers including me are absolutely grateful.
Thank you BOD for the Oat TEK I followed it to prepare my jars and now I have placed them in fruiting condition using Muda's TEK.
Here are some pictures, I have been told that my jars are bacterial but I still had to give it a shot by putting them in fruiting, just a couple of fruits but they are the first fruits that I have ever grown:

Awesome! I was wondering myself, why did it have so many different types of grains and various ingredients inside and why couldn't it just be grain and regular coir substrate. Looks like it doesn't actually need that extra stuff.

Going to be trying the just oat and coir recipe tommorrow and I am not sure how much water to use or the best way to prep it.
Would you hydrate the grain and the coir separately or would you pour the pot of boiling grain into the coir like how the op recipe describes?
AND is there an easy way to figure out how much water is needed for said amount of grain to boil/hydrate and just add an extra gallon for hydrating the coir?
so I will try the hydrating separately and together and also compare different water amounts to see what comes out right.
Any suggestion/info on the subject would be greatly appreciated so I know I'm going about this right.

So just mix the grain and coir? No straw this time? The first tek was a good idea. Looking forward to the new one.

Just go about your normal grain, and coir prep technique, mix them together, and place them in the bags once completed, then sterilize.
