well done my southern brethren.  what GA lacks in Psilocybe diversity the caerulescens makes up for in longevity of season.

Nice finds guys , I'm amazed when more than one dehydrater tray is needed! Haha

Here's what I found yesterday and this morning. The bigger find was this morning. Unfortunately I haven't been able take habitat shots (good ones at least) due to low battery.

The mycelium picture has a small pin towards the bottom right. I've been finding LOTS of mycelium that have yet to fruit!

The cope cyans are out as well. I've gotta go back and see the pins, I'll try to upload pics later.

First off, nice finds to all the posters above raking them in. Those are some pretty awesome finds. I feel very fortunate to find what I have this year including my first weilii by dumb luck.

On to my question. Some of you above that have the honey holes that don't stop producing, how did you find them? Tribal knowledge? Did you stumble across them while going about your day? Scout them out as potential hot spots that ended up producing after rain? Or was it more of a hike through the woods/yards when the conditions were right and you found them?

Curious as I think about a better strategy to go about my search next season.

Found mine one day when checking the normal patches(which don't produce much)

Decided to walk around a bit more, mindlessly wandering, caught me so off guard when I saw some brown boobies in the grass.

I found one while walking. Figured it was like hunting cubes if you find one there is always more nearby. You might not see them but mushrooms seem to have that tendency. As far as picking the spot looked for a place that even remotely looked like the right environment and waited til people started posting on here to go look.
Also aujerm the season isn't over yet still plenty to come, the soil is still warm, from the ones that I find the stems reach pretty deep. If they are still posting the undiscovered honey holes are still producing.
