Bush - war criminal

So, what do you think about judging to Bush? He started the war, caused thousands and thousands of deaths and destroying. What sentence does he deserve for this?
Would death penalty be enough?

Sure, we'll get right to that just as soon as we finish trying all the other despots and tyrants in the world that are worse than him.
Trial should begin sometime during the summer of 2086 .
BTW which war crimes specifically are you claiming Bush has committed?

Errr... America violated the UN charter, but this is a long way from Bush being a war criminal.
I don't think Bush deserves death, nor (obviously) will he recieve the death penalty for war crimes.
Are you a troll, or what?

As I know, US still have this in its legislation. So, if you do not hurry up with changing it, Bush could easily finish on the electric chair
My suggestion to Bush. Hurry up!

BTW, there is a difference between "war", and "war crime".

Also technically, Saddam started the war in the early 90's when he invaded Kuwait. The war simple subsided into a ceacefire and sanctions which were doing more harm than good.
What Bush did was finish the war in Iraq, something that should have been done a decade ago.

Deliberately targeting civilians is, yes.
He never did that.

No. Saddam never started the war in Kuwait. He only occupied it. Like Bush did it with Iraq.

Maybe you are right. Maybe he is not a war criminal. Same as Milosevic is not. They only started war that resulted with thousands of thousands of dead people. They only started war without being provokoed. Just becuase they wanted to do so. To "protect" their intersts. Maybe that is really not a war crime. At least, technically speaking. Right?
BTW, I have a large sympathy to Hitler. He is neither the war criminal. He just had to destroy the ones who would destroy him, so he created concentration camps. What is so bad about it? I mean, in every war innocent are being killed. Right?
Hitler. War hero, not a war criminal. Right?

Whether Bush's war in Iraq was a reasonable continuation of the 1991 war depends on your view of the UN (see http://www.shroomery.org/forums/showflat...;o=&fpart=3 ) . However, even if the US waged war on Iraq only due to the fact that Saddam Hussain was a Bad Guy and violated the terms of the cease-fire (the Reagan administration was on awfully good terms with SH), I see no grounds to prosecute Bush as a war criminal. See the principals of the Nurenberg trials: http://www.un.org/law/ilc/texts/nurnberg.htm

I am not a lawyer. I just obey to the common sense. Common sense says to me that if somebody invade another country, its souvereignity, with the arm force, causing deaths and destruction, the one instantly becomes the war criminal.
I do not need lawyers, law and other apologetic bullshit to realize this simple idea.

Wow, that's neat.
How about this, let's have an election in Iraq and let them elect either Hussein, or Bush as their permanent leader.
Ah, just imagine.
George W. Bush: President of Iraq.
