Is this enough spawn?

Hello guys!
So almost half of my spawn turned out bad with mold so i only got left this 4 ones... would that be enough spawn for coco brick? Maybe i get just one brick or mix two and it will colonize further the whole coco bricks medium?
Its my first time doing mono so not experienced... Thanks.

use real jars with real lids, or you'll continue to fail.
i would start over if i were you. i think you're bound to fail.

Ya I'm with ajaxx you need lids. If theirs no lids and any pressure hits that foil theirs dirty air getting sucked down into the spawn. Reuse pickle jars and whatever jars you come across but you need lids.

Im gonna disagree n say the cups are fine...jars or cups either way you have a verm barrier your problem is inoculant and it would take about 20 cakes for a brick

Doesn't look right at all. Im guessing you didn't pressure cook since you didn't use jars, try getting some quart jars fill a little over halfway, put 4 holes in lid for inoculation, cover lid with tyvek and then screw ring down over tyvek. When you noc them up, cover hole from syringe with micropore tape, no need for foil or rubber bands

There are no jars with lids where you live? But you have internet access. I don't believe that.
I'm sure some old ladies you know would have jars to store stuff in, even on a remote island. Use your imagination. You don't need to buy jars.

Hey guys!!
Yes i have jars but no jars with no lip.. But ive ordered jars and im gonna cut them... cut the lip and use foil with them so the cakes can come out...
As for this cakes, they look good, all white, but they are so slow because its really cold right now. I think i will put them in sgfc and make new batch for new mono... How much spawn do i need? Ive ordered jars approx 15 x 8 cm... How much of those cca?
Thanks!

depends on the size of the mono...
you could do the math, you want 3-4" of sub in the mono. The sub could be 1:1.5 or 1:2, 1:2.5, 1:3, spawn to sub ratio... preference really. some even go 1:4. it would take longer to colonize the less spawn you use.
