I just know my monthly insurance plan went from 65 dollars a month to 200 dollars a month under Obamacare. I still had a 10,000 deductible. I never get sick so I stopped paying.

That is unfortunate and I am sorry to hear it. But I am glad you don't get sick.
I was talking about roads and ObamaCare today and how they are or are not comparable. Both are socialist, but only healthcare can be put into the free market.

Thats what sucks about health insurance. U have to pay, even if u have good health. And if u dont, u gotta pay in the future on your taxes. So lame.

They are both socialist, but one is for the benefit of everyone while the other... Isn't. Both were 'forced' upon us, so to speak, but I don't think many would call road construction extortionate, since we are all putting in a relatively equal amount of our money for it, and it benefits everyone. If the Amish or some group had to pay extra for not using the roads it would be more akin to obamacare. But yeah either way yea to both

I went to the liquor store today and there were two old bums asking for money. I said, Sorry to them when they asked me for money. Then when I came out with my liquor bottle they went on a rant about how terrible it is living on Earth. Kill yourself then. I don't give handouts. Too many suckers do.

I agree there are outlier cases, but I think in the majority of cases, states take care of the roadways through taxes. In my stat it is PenDot.

Anything that is to be used for "free" by anyone is a socialist program. Anything paid for by taxes is a socialist thing. The army is a solicialist program.

They set up health insurance like car insurance.
Problem is you can choose not to have a car but you can't choose not to have a body.
Public insurance might be a better option. I dunno. But it would make sense to have a health union everyone pays into for everyone who has work and another union the wealthy pays into for themselves and for those who don't work. It would help pull out the tremendous gap in healthcare quality.

Im OK with government using tax dollars to repair/build roads. I don't think my honda would appreciate it if all the roads were dirt still

I think government subsidised health care is a pretty big step towards socialism but roads not so much

Because not everyone needs or uses government healthcare, where as roads are a necessity even if you dont use them, Thing of industries like trucking that rely on roads thats just my 2c im sure there some flaws with it

I am having trouble fathoming this.
Roads:
-we all pay in
-roads are built
-we drive on the roads
-some roads are private
ObamaCare:
-we all pay in
-ObamaCare prices are made
-ObamaCare is sold
-some insurance is private an sold
Punishment:
-failing to pay for roads is tax evasion
-failing to pay for Obamacare means penalty
-a penalty that is overdue is tax evasion
-tax evasion is a felony and can result in up to 5 years in prison
It seems like...
We all pay in and roads are free.
We all pay in for healthcare, we must purchase it (employers too) or be penalized, and the penalty adds supports the recipients for ObamaCare.
What do you think? What am I missing.
