Poast that stuff here.
Looks like Hayward is done until the playoffs. Raptors will win 50 games and take the 2 seed in the East. Warriors over the Cavs in the finals in 5.

Isn't it too bad that the league is that predictable? I agree with your picks, kind of a no-brainer at this point.

Absolutely. It's frustrating being a toronto, portland, Houston or Minnesota fan in this age. Even OKC and the Spurs, you might be close, but you aren't going to the finals for another couple of years.

Also the new Nike jerseys look like garbage around the arms. What a weird design for under the armpit and behind the back.
Plus you still can't order the fucking things and most teams only have the two players available.

George is tearing it up. Yet it's a Golden State dynasty for awhile since Irving left Cleveland. Parity is a joke in the NBA.

Warriors seem mentally weaker this year. When things don't go right they get frustrated and can't get their chemistry back like they were able to in past years.

You have a point but I see them like the Jackson Lakers. They will be ready for the playoffs and now that Irving is gone there is no one to stand against them.
In the days of the first round of best of five you get Denver beating Seattle. With every round the same second season as it seems to go forever I think they will do just fine.

You will lose. Time will tell of course but I highly doubt you would go gamble on the Raptors to win it all. Despite the MASSIVE money you make. Or just watch them blow through the Eastern Conference, have Boston give them a series, fuck Cleveland, and watch them lose.
Not a 4 man all-star team fan. I hope G.S. does lose to whoever they play. But like when Jordan was asked about it he said you have 4 good teams in the league and the rest suck. I agree completely.

The Raptors are a great team, no doubt, but they are not on Golden State's level, not even close, yet. I have high hopes for them though, and I'm hoping to catch some home games next year when I can afford it. I'm pretty close to Toronto.
If anybody in the east is coming for them (GS), it's my Boston Celtics.
Can't wait to see them beat LeBron's egotistical ass tomorrow night!

Probably true. GS is a fun team to watch, too, with the exception of Draymond. For a big man he's such a whiny bitch. Actually, most of Golden States players complain on the regular, even when the call means nothing in the grand scheme of the game.

No, but with LeBron there's always rumors. Before Isaiah Thomas got traded to LA, there was a rumor that LeBron was going to be a Laker. Every year it's a different LeBron rumor.
I must say, the Cavs played a fantastic game against my Celtics the other day though. I was impressed

Raptors bench is so deep like the ocean. We've been slept on too long and have the OG Jedi.

Our starting center is shooting 47% from 3 Lowry is averaging less than 30 minutes a game because our bench is getting it done. We won 7 in a row, and 6 of 7 were by more than 15 points. I think 5 of last 7 hasn't had any starter play in the 4th. This is a statement year for us.

After that epic 25 point collapse fuck you Westbrook and George can't make 1 out of 6 to tie it. Fuck off. You aren't in hicktown. We are Mormon town except on Sundays. God that depresses me but we don't choose.
Onward to Houston on Sunday. The East, who gives a shit. The Jazz however have a future and here in where I have spent most of my time, most of it suffering in jails because I chose to use drugs, go forth Jazz and make this city mighty once again.
Just a joke but if they get two against Houston and build on what they have it is looking good. So is your hometown team looking good besides the 4-2 8th seed in the East. Boston maybe? Such excitement. The West top 4 is the same as it always been.

Tough luck Brah. I have P.C. principle stuck in my head. Their is a big Raptors fan that posts and that loss must of really stung. It could be worse, you could be a Jazz fan and watch this years going to be MVP Harden, God his game is amazing, and Paul destroy your team on their way to an NBA title.
Glad to see Curry back playing for G.S. That Western Conference series I am looking forward to watching and should be epic. I bet on Houston this year.

I can't believe the Raptors got swept. That shot by Lebron I have never seen a player take an angle like that for a shot, amazing. Jazz have a lot to look forward to though but not this season. I predicted a 4-1 series, just that that one win would be game 4.
I like Houston. I predicted they will win the title and without a healthy Curry, who is actually worse off injury wise then I thought, Cavs-Houston. Guessing 4-2. Harden, it's amazing OKC would let him go.
I liked watching the documentary about Vince Carter and Toronto and when Curry was playing for the Raptors seeing his kid at the time spin a ball on his finger like it was nothing and draining shots. You grow up in that culture, and have the talent, amazing.
And yes, it will be Houston. Great thing about following sports is making money off your knowledge. Like stocks. You don't have to be perfect, just a good winning percentage.

We shall see, if you have seen his game at that level and why he will be MVP I just take your post as just nothing. Another sports fan with nothing to add but just trash talk. Nothing to back it up. He is over rated but somehow averaged 30 points a game and destroyed my team the Jazz.
Called it al along, G.S. and Houston and whoever wins this takes the title. Cavs don't have it at that level.

Dude, if you really watch him so much how are you not aware that he flops more than a soccer player? Hes a monster, and yes he has AMAZING talent, which is why its so pathetic when he dives around drawing pussy ass fouls. True champions (Jordan) don't do that shit, they outplay their opponents and that is that.
This is why I will never respect LeBron either. Sure, he might be the best player of all time but he does NOT have a champion mentality, he has a victim mentality (kind of like these "me too" people, but thats another thread). Harden is following down that same road. And honestly I only give the Cavs a chance in the finals if its against Houston. No way Lebron takes down the Warriors by himself again, the Rockets maybe.
You haven't offered any actual analysis either btw, you just keep saying how amazing Hardens game is with no reasoning.

All you have to do is watch his game. And read his stats. It's not Rocket science, lol. That is the stupidest joke I have ever made on the shroomery on purpose.
Anyway, it is just a game. Don't take it to seriously. He is amazing to watch as is Lebron and Curry. And yes. I hate floppers which is why I despise future HOF Manu of the Spurs who has taken that to a whole level during his career.
The refs have gotten better at not calling it and hopefully it will be more so. There is way to much whining in the NBA.

Good start. Will be an interesting series. Think the Celts will win game one and then the Cavs will come on strong in Game 2. Still, nothing to Golden State and the Warriors. That is basketball on a whole different level.
Just great to see Celtics fans excited again, been a long time.
And sorry Toronto fan for your sweep and the firing of your head coach yesterday. Regular season doesn't mean a whole lot.

I dont know how to feel about the East. I like seeing Lebron lose like that but lets be honest, can the Celtics even win a single game against Golden State? Not that the series is over, I wont be shocked if Lebron pops off 4 straight after getting embarrassed yesterday. Then we would end up with GS vs. Cleveland for the 4TH YEAR IN A ROW! Ridiculous.
Anyway, tonight the real Finals begin. Warriors will win the Series but it should be pretty heated.

Save Steph for a playoff series that matters. I was really wrong. Durant was amazing. Thank God I didn't put money on it. It's just one game but it changed my mind. Warriors get another NBA title. Will be interesting if Klay stays with them next year. This could be a Bulls type dynasty.
Thinking the Celts get swept. Strange feeling. If feels like there is no competition left.

Now see, if I was betting, last night was the night to put money on Houston. The "game 2 rule" they call it, its pretty reliable.
Don't count on another night like that though. Hardens supporting cast isnt going to sink shots like that every night, and Steph is going to wake up eventually
And yea, Durant man, that guy cant be stopped. He can turn around and pull a jumper over just about anyone. Then you double team him and/or Steph and leave Klay wide open all night like game 1.
Boston is obviously a better team than Cleveland, but having LeBron on the court is like having Tom Brady, the shit aint over until its over.
Boston vs. Golden State has zero appeal as well, cant imagine the NBA really wants that to happen.

http://www.espn.com/nba/story/_/id/23466117/cleveland-cavaliers-point-guard-jose-calderon-not-billionaire-tell-teammates-that
Found this amusing. NBA culture.
LeBron James told ESPN with a sly smile. "Channing made him pay for a dinner. The check came and he said, 'Give it to the billionaire.' So, yeah. We know about it."
Everytime he makes a play it is like, 2.2 billion, that's great. When Cleveland played his former team, the Toronto Raptors, in the Eastern Conference semifinals, the subject of Calderon's deep pockets came up on the Raptors' group text, and Kyle Lowry, sources said, argued that the billions must be coming from the bacon.
He owns a pig farm. 84 million to make over a career isn't bad. Time for the finals. Am bored and it is already set in stone.

Lol. It doesn't change. The next one between G.S. and Houston should be close. When you watch it through the years many things are more easy to predict. Oracle is an amazing home court advantage though. Though it is located in Oakland it was amusing to see Klay at a Giants game and not shitty Oakland.

Draymond Green blew it!

Harden still doin Harden things, Chris Paul was the real MVP.
That game was decent, still way too many soft fouls being called on both sides of the ball.

Still riding Houston. 8.5 dogs in that game. Riding them till the end and I hope to God, just another word for life, that the Celtics finish out the Cavs. It will be a slaughter with how weak and pathetic the Celtics are.

Rockets lose by 30 and every fan on their instagram feed is blaming the referees.
Harden ain't shit without Paul. He gives up way too easily when things arent going his way.
Real question though, did Boston and Houston only go up 3-2 to make this all not look rigged? Money talks, why wouldn't they milk this for every cent they can get? This is the world's greatest reality show and they want as many episodes as possible.

Interesting game 7 without Love. Have no clue where this one is going to go now. I love game sevens in any playoff. It is 22-30 in the second quarter Celts. Without Love am liking the Celts in this one. You have five guys on the court. Lebron by pure will power I don't think will win this one. 2.5 spread at the Garden even without Love.
Just make it an interesting game Lebron.

Celts will be destroyed by the Warriors. Without Paul, or a heavily injured Paul as it is more than just a hammy, the Warriors will crush the Celtics if that is who they match up with which I am guessing they will. The talent level between the two is ridiculous.

I expected that outcome when it mattered most. Sometimes I let my hatred of the East plus the guy is like Jordan but with a weaker supporting cast, overcome common sense. Lebron beat this weak team. He won't beat the Warriors. And yes, put your money and fandom on the Warriors for game seven at Toyota. Quality automobiles. The Goodyear's beat the General Electics's. Good for them.
Just get on with Finals. I would bet a months rent on the Warriors winning game seven with Paul hurt. Actually I wouldn't but you get the point. Have been right almost all of the time following the sport. Yet everytime I brag I seem to lose so am trying not to.

But Stephen Smith wanted to see the Celtics in the Finals! Can anyone stand listening to his tripe? His opinions are idiotic. How does this guy have so many jobs at ESPN? And who the hell listens to him?
I think the Cavs win two. If it was the Celts I would be surprised with one. That was pathetic with Love out and at home. If one would of rode the Cavs to this point one would of been a rich man but that time is done. Just reminds me of the Phil Jackson teams of the Bulls and Lakers. They play when it matters. Kerr takes the same strategy.

I like the quote by Jordan, saying that making teams that have 3 all-star players, and with the Warriors 4, makes those out of three suck in the rest in the league.
Golden State will win this series. And on to a season where it lasts for 3/4's of the year. Liked it when there was just a five game opening series. IT DRAGS!
But I feel for you Raptors fan out there getting so hyped up about your team. Nothing like a great regular season record and getting swept in the first round and your coach fired.

Blue Jays suck this year. Seeing a playoff game on t.v. am thinking Canadians aren't as nice as you think or want you to believe. When ballplayers are afraid to be on the field, something is wrong.
But on to Golden State holding the championship trophy again over time.

Harden is very overrated and i wouldnt want him on my team as my number 1 player to lead my team. No defense and comes up short.
But that said Harden deserves it this year. its a regular season award and harden was the best player this season.
James may be more important to his team but they were 3rd in a weak eastern conference. Harden led his team to number 1 seed in a stacked western conference. He deserves MVP.

Yea this isnt new for the NBA. And I keep seeing the same complaint everywhere, " its lebron against 4 all-stars its not fair blah blah blah." What are the Warriors supposed to do? Sign shittier players on purpose to be fair?
"Hey guys we have too many all-stars, one you has to go because the other teams just arent having fun playing us."
For real though, other teams just need to get better. LeBron said it himself, there are plenty of players in the league who don't even try to win championships, they are happy just collecting checks.
You know whats a douchey move? Declarong yourself "king" and expecting others to call you "king james". What a tool.
Where will he move to next? Will the fans burn his jersey again? Probably. But I bet he wont get as much hate as KD does.

These Warriors vs. Lebron matchups have been the first NBA finals that I have found entertaining in years. The Warriors are just so much fun to watch, IMO.
If you think this is unfair, you should be glad you weren't an NBA fan during the 1960s. The Boston Celtics won the the championship every single year that entire decade, with the exception of 1967.

What I'm saying is that if you know with certainty which team is going to win the championship, how interesting can it be? Only one or two teams even have the ability to win the finals, and the one we all thought would win -- before the season even began -- swept. Why even play basketball? Or maybe just start at the conference finals? I call it a shitty product.

Or maybe just start at the conference finals? I call it a shitty product.
Nice post. I agree.
And everyone saying lebron has no help acts like lebron didnt hand pick his team and give millions upon millions on role players. Lebron also refuses to take a little less money to get more talent.
Its all his fault he loses and its Kevin Durants fault for ruining the NBA.

They need a hard cap for salary and to scrap the luxury tax. The two teams with the biggest salaries going to the finals.

So? theres a salary cap in football and my team just happens to have the best coach and qb ever to do it. plus, the patriots run is about to end anyway.
That has nothing to do with what i said

The NBA has a salary cap. The Warriors drafted 3 of 4 of their all-stars that everyone bitches about. Now those all stars are willing to take pay cuts to play with each other. What is unfair about the situation?
It has everything to do with your comment and the conversation.
And your QB is a bay area native and 49ers fan and he wouldnt even play football if it wasnt for Joe Montana so you're welcome.

havent you heard of "luxury tax?"
and its pretty unfair when the best team in history gets the 2nd best player in the league
to compare the warriors to the patriots is pretty fucking stupid.

Not really...by your logic, if a team is "too good" it is unfair.
The Warriors are a phenomenal team, but the best ever?
I personally wouldn't even consider them to be in the running for GOAT until they have won a championship AT LEAST 3 years in a row. At this point they have won 3 championships in 4 years. That is pretty good, but they are going to have to win a few more championships before they can even be considered for that title.
Boston Celtics won the championship 10 times in 11 years
Bulls won the championship 6 times in 8 years.
I'm sorry, but the idea that KD ruined the NBA by going to The Warriors is just silly. Sure, they are good, but they aren't THAT good....
Can you really blame a guy for wanting to win championships?

Agreed, they aren't the greatest team of all time even with KD.

So you guys really don't think KD going to the warriors helped ruin the NBA??
And you can't bring up the celtics..that was in the 60s..
And the bulls had 2 stars and one was the best player ever. That's why they won..not because everyone went to 1 team..
I really can't believe you guys think that way..no respect for the game

I'm not trying to be a contrarian or anything. I can definitely understand how it would be frustrating for some fans to watch the same teams in the playoffs year after year.
I just don't think one of the best players going to an already really good team can ruin the entire league. Dominant teams have always been a part of the game.
IMO, the way the Warriors put their team together seems totally organic and normal compared to the Cavs. The Cavs basically restructured their entire team on a whim an hour before the trade deadline to satisfy LeBron.
I'm not a fan of either team, and I don't root for any NBA team in particular, so that might have something to do with why I have the opinion I do. For me it is way more entertaining to watch a team trying to create a legacy than it is watching one off teams play over a series most people won't remember.

Well the Warriors are in the middle of theirs with a long way to go. Having Durant added to them is unfair but life isn't meant to be fair. I don't care. I love that area and Curry and Klay. They are an amazing team to watch.
Am a Jazz fan but they will never match up. The Jazz blew them out by 30 one game but what does the regular season mean? I remember the year before going to the arena and seeing a fan with a G.S. jersey on and just looking at me with a grin on his face, as a sports fan, like, you have no chance in round two of the playoffs against us. And the Jazz were swept 4-0. Whatever. It's sports and it is for fun. Some take it way to seriously.
