NBA superteams

Well, if Paul George, Carmelo Anthony and Gordon Hayward are moved in the way people are predicting they will be this summer, we will have four teams in the NBA with at least three all-stars: Golden State, Cleveland, Boston and (possibly) Houston.
Even though this is the new trend in the league, revenues from advertising and attendance are at an all-time high. I have no idea why. If there are no fewer than 26 or even 28 teams that cannot possibly win the title for the foreseeable future, the product has to be worse than it has ever been. I wonder if there will be a lag, and in a couple of years their profits will go down. As Charles Barkley rightly said, the product at this point really is terrible.
I am a Jazz fan. They're almost certainly going to lose Hayward, and probably won't even make the playoffs next year. If small- and medium market teams are successful in building playoff teams, and then their best players always leave during free agency, wtf is the majority of the league going to do? I think this new collective bargaining agreement is an absolute failure -- it seems to give players way too much power. Back in the day, general managers actually had power. Not anymore.
What do you think about it? Do you think the league is in good shape, as so many people think it is, or is it malfunctioning badly? As far as I can tell, it's a pretty weird position to say everything's fine when so many franchises have no shot, and probably won't for a very long time, but I'm curious to hear people's opinions on this.

absolutely hate this superteam crap. no other way to say it. We will see golden state in the finals for the next 5 years.

Not with 2018 free agency around the corner. You could make a team just out of 2018 free agents that could beat the Warriors. They'll repeat again next season, but a superteam will be built specifically to beat them the following year. At least 3 of the top free agents will sign in one place. The list of names available is ridiculous.

Kevin Durant and them boys will take less money to keep their crew together. KD already did, actually. Youll see..this team will win atleast 2 or 3 more rings in a row

Well it seems like a real shift that is locking in for 2017-2018. I don't know if it is good for the NBA but it looks like the Kevin Durant mentality has taken over. If you can't beat em join em. KD was the worst, but now it makes a little more sense for others to even the field. That's how I see it anyway.
I think cleveland will prove what it can with the new veteran heavy lineup in the regular season. They will gel or not, and it will be clear. Isaiah Thomas will get buckets, at the very least and Lebron will try to martial the new squad. Adding Dwayne Wade is fun and I am even wondering about Derrick Rose. Win or lose it will be entertaining.
How about the Thunder? Carmelo and Paul George? I find it hard to guess.
Celtics and the new lineup will be worth watching...
At least now there will be enough competition. It will make the game to beat the warriors worth watching, for me. Anyone else excited for the season to start?

In my opinion, Carmelo, Paul George and Westbrook is still not enough for Warriors. Kevin Durant is a good scorer added to their team. They made it to the finals without him. Now that he's added this is a great super team. Lebron and Wade can make it though if not, they still need another team mate hope its not Bosh. lol

Hayward just broke his leg. So Boston is fucked. I think they got fleeced in that trade anyway.

I prefer college ball nowadays. More competitive.
