Fuzzy bases - Small/Skinny fruits
    #24704101 - 10/12/17 06:52 AM (6 years, 5 months ago)

I'm having issues with fuzzy bases and small skinny fruits as well as uneven flush. To fix the uneven flush problem I'll be trying bubble wrap.
I'm using a sterling 55qt tub and damions coir tek. The tub is under a  6500k 12/12

Ps. I've used the search button and found multiple answers on my problems regarding FAE and humidity. I do not see any condensation on the sides or lid of tub.
Strain is either Gc or KC(I got side tracked when innoculating and don't know if I labeled correctly)

Will post pics later.

I would skip the bubble wrap and hone in on substrate preparation and also maintaining proper surface conditions, check out this thread

It's hard to say what your problem is exactly without pics
For fuzzy feet I crack the lid more to increase fresh air exposure and the fuzz goes away

But normally I have a lot of condensation, if you don't maybe your sub is too dry, like I said this is all speculation without pics, but if your fruits are real small then maybe they need water

Once you got the pics up I'm sure one of us will chime in with more solid advice

Condensation has nothing to do with your sub be dry...when you pull a beer from the fridge it gets condensation but this does mean your can is at field capacity.
Post pics but most tubs get fuzzy feet I wouldn't worry too much ...

Yeah, condensation is due to temp. differences, because mycelium generates heat when it grows
No condensation just seems like an issue
Like a dead sub

Sometimes do My moving your tub to z different spot in the room helps but most times a slight adjustment with the poly will do the same

Okay cool. It's the first flush so I'm really dealing with trial and error here and dialing in my tub. I'll post pics tonight.

I did adjust the fan and polyfil.
