Nope - maybe 3 or 4 inches square. Too big? I can trim them.

I didn't think they were larger than most I've seen in vids, but I'm so new to this that my umbilicus is still attached.

Look at this freak! I took a pic of a normal novogranatense seedling, to illustrate the difference. It appears to have one stalk for each cotyledon, and the cotyledons seem larger than normal. I'm wondering if it was damaged before fully sprouting, and that led to this split.

Its funny to get a mutant coca seedling, while I am simultaneously fruiting PE lol. When you grow mushrooms, you get used to mutants, but this right here is fucking strange.

Some shiitake porn

Harvested about half of what was there. Not the best but still really happy with it as a first attempt! Had a few
mutants in there. I think it's because of too much water in the sub and maybe a speck of over-supplementation.

Some of the blocks are just now starting to pin which is weird. They are well behind the others that's for sure!

awesome pics, i read shiitake are quite a slow mushroom to grow compared to most other edibles, i am looking at these some oysters lions main and 1 or 2 others to get into edibles at some point soon how long have they taken you from inoculation to those pics? any info on substrate composition would be cool

It's 3782. I just ordered a 2.5 bag of 3782 spawn from aloha so I can refresh this culture because I'm pretty
sure it's getting old. I didn't treat it very well when I first got it and now it's returning the favor I think
