I really liked Colorado Springs because everyone was so nice. I got a discount ticket to drive up Pikes Peak. It was 90 degrees at Colorado Springs that day but it was 39 degrees and graupel at the top. You actually feel the lack of oxygen ounce you hit about 11,000 feet. Pikes Peak is over 14,000 feet.

I know, I've been there. The incline on the way to pikes peak is a great way to get in shape. CO springs is beautiful, too. I love that state so much.

FeedingMyDreams, if you have the cashola, move to Nederland, CO. Not sure if you've been there, but it's my favorite place in the world.

Ha ha ya I know thc is a drug. And I also realize that I only use extract witch is way more potent than flower. I just don't do any of the other drugs I use to. But yes I still do drugs... Mushrooms might be on my list depending on what I can produce. And to chime in a little on my grow. I use three seperated rooms. The one thing I have to say now is air flow and humidity. That has been the one thing I've learned over the years. My current room has been in motion for over a year. I have not had one single bug... I know amazing. I have been waiting for something to infest but for some reason it hasn't... Ok now to explain how it works. I have 3 rooms built inside one bedroom. The first room is my clone room. It can clone up to 200 plants. And I have humitity domes and heat mats in there along with very simple lighting (although this room uses t5s full spec bulbs) that runs 24/7. I have an intake and exhaust using carbon filters it just uses existing air in the main room and exhausts into the main room as well. The 2nd and 3rd room are linked together with air ducts. No light leaks into either room they are both completely sealed off from everything else. The 2nd is the veg room it runs hortilux 420s 460s and full spectrum bulbs 18 hours on and 6 hours off(I keep mother plants in there and also a small t5 set up for clones before they bloom). That room has an intake that blows filtered air from the main room into the veg room. It cools down my lights and brings fresh air in. The air that leaves the room is warmer now 75 degrees to be exact and contains a lot of humidity. So I suck that air out and blow it into the bloom room. Room number 3 is my bloom room and final room. Also completely sealed off only has two air ducts. The first one is warm humid air from the veg room. Other air is from my air conditioner: both of those together blow a lot of air both warm and humid and cold and dry. Those together run my room at 72-77 degrees and 40-60% humidity. Inside of that room has so much air and a hot light that I put a carbon filter with a backflow preventer hooked to an adjustable fan that fan blows into my light to cool it down, after the light is another fan that sucks all the grow room air and blows it out side. It has the carbon filter so there goes all the stink from everything. I dry and cure in the main room. And that room has a hepa filter blowing fresh air from outside into the room. And my air conditioner/heater keeps the main room at 69 degrees. Half the ac unit blows into the bloom room other half blows into the main room. Cools the air for the veg room to suck up. Now for the tricky part. I can fit 36 plants under my bloom lighting. So I clone 18 plants, once they root they go to the veg room for a week (strait to hps and they die). Then they go into bloom, once they have been in bloom for two weeks I clone 18 more. Two weeks later those babies go into bloom. So that means the first 18 plants are half way done (4 weeks under bloom light) and a fresh batch is added in. Then two weeks later I clone more. That means my first clones are two weeks from harvest (6 weeks under bloom light). Then once I'm ready for harvest those clones are ready for bloom room. I harvest them (8 weeks under bloom light) put the new babies into bloom and guess what my second set of clones are half way done (under bloom light for 4 weeks). Now every 4 weeks I harvest and start 18 more plants. And I actually do 6 blueberry 6 bubblelicious and 6 power flower. Those are our favorite. Mom plants in veg room grow and get cloned off of for 6 months sometimes. While those mothers grow I grow new mothers from seed.... Damn didn't think it would take that long to explain I'm sure I've forgotten a few things

If I do a grow next year I will make it easier to deal with and I will start earlier than the growing season rather than later, hope I can get enough bag seed from dispensary weed by then.

My dad and I have been trying to sell this house for 6 years now. It's because it's in Hampton, we can't get the assessed value. Nobody wants to hear gunfire every other night.

Bag seed has a genetic predisposition to go hermaphrodite on you. Some dispensaries sell seeds (and clones too) I bought some in boulder once. And those are from true male/female parents, not a hermy that accidentally pollinated the crop.

How do you cope if someone starts up a large scale hempseed oil plantation in your area?

Hepa filters? Burn the hemp field before it drops pollen?
I'm sure there's been many a fight over fields of kind getting ruined by nearby schwag operations.
Quote:
A 2015 report from Oregon Cannabis Connection cited by Hermann covers pollination studies and discusses unwanted pollination. “In three studies, pollen drift was observed across 5 to 12 kilometers (3 to 7.5 miles). A fourth study showed pollen drift for 48 kilometers (30 miles) across the Mediterranean Sea from Morocco to Spain, summarizes Hermann.
We don’t have sea winds carrying hemp pollen into Colorado, but it can be windy nonetheless. According to Hermann, a safe starting distance between marijuana and hemp plants is 10 miles. “There is no scientific backing to guarantee that distance, but it is a safe starting point.”

I think these are just plants that got a little stressed, I don't fully understand it but I didn't get any hermies out of whatever survived the dying off and I didn't fully expect not to get males either but they're all feminized
