Pack of 4 is 3.99 at the lowes depot

What! I paid like $10-$15 for mine at home depot. Man, at least they last for a long time. I have mine on a 12/12 auto light cycle and I'm still on my first bulb but next time... Next time Lowes lol

But I have heard LEDs work great, I have never tried them personally but a few friends of mine have ...

I use the absolute cheapest no frills daylight (advertised as 6000k) 2835 LED strip lights and they fruit thick ropes. For individual shelf lighting not general room lighting.

CFL lights are being phased out because they are an environmental disaster. That is why they are now $10-15 a box if you can even find them locally. Good thing there is no reason to use them really. They just used to be cheap and effective.

I recently upgraded my daylight CFL's to these LED's

Amazon - 50W LED Flood Light 6000K White Light

They've got a heatsink in the back so the front of the lamp stays cool.  They're much brighter & whiter than CFL's and cooler too, mushrooms seem to love them.

I do like 15/9 pretty much my schedule. They're very adaptive.

You could start a new thread, if after the OP discussion, you were still unsure?
