I got green stuff....

I just opened my chamber and some of the cakes have started to grow some mushies but one had a green spot on the top edge. So I took it out and brushed off the verm on top and cut that part off....it kept cutting and it was nearly to the middle so I tossed it. I think it was one of several that I dunked for nearly 24 hours. should I be worried about the other 23 cakes?....am I doomed?

no I wouldn't say DOOMED exactly, but keep a close eye on those cakes, and toss any that show the green. have you already gotten a few flushes? Cakes always seem to get the green after a few good flushes.

I am on my second flush. Do you think dunking them for so long had anything to do with it? Because I had six that I dunked for nearly 24 hours. Thanks. - Clusterhead -

no ...dunking had nothing to do with it....but try to save the rest of your cakes by cutting away any green or tossing them and use a 1/100 H202 spray.

If you want you can try a bleach dunk (this has worked for me 50% of the time) after you have cut away the mold but keep the cakes seperated in case it does not work. Look up the tek.
