I have never in my life worried about the temp. of the fruiting chamber. Unless you are using one of the species that require really low temps, do not worry, try cold shocking the cakes before birth. put the taped jars in the fridge for 24 hours. then birth them.

if you are using the PF misting method with the drip sheild it needs to be really tight.

Larry is correct, the temp is of minimal importance. As long as you are around high 60's to mid 80's, you will be fine.

If you have a large enough terrarium for a drip shield, you will be better served by perlite IMHO. Either fanning or an airpump for fresh air.
