I’d think there could be just as good of a chance as something being in a bag of apples, there’s bacteria everywhere it’s just more about load and your immune system for the most part. Sorry to hear you had a bad reaction.

Sorry to hear that, mate. I strongly doubt the vaccine would cause it, I don't think such side effect has ever been reported from a vaccine before. Definitely a good call to take a break from the microdosing regardless.

Don't mean to offend you but ppl are being fooled and they are poisoning you with those vaccine! Mark my words more and more ppl are going to be sick or die from vaccination 💉

TWM sorry to hear man. I wouldn’t eat any more of your allenii stash until you figure it out. I recently had to throw away 60g of p.cyan’s because I didn’t properly dry them. It was really hard to do but I felt better after getting rid of them.
I think I remember some of your ID requests being debated on what you had. Is it possible a few other mushrooms snuck in? Maybe another reason to ditch the stash and start fresh.

Yes, extremely rewarding. I went full circle with wild find to a new patch.
They are maturing really slowly. I think it took 22 months to fruit because the area is so big there and was a lot to colonize. I haven't fed it since last fall.
Mycelium went under landscaping bricks and is fruiting on the other side

My cyan patch has been down since last spring. Hoping for some pins this fall. Lot's of rope under these chips.

Just realized that I took shitty pics, lol.

Seems pretty wet in there. Today has been the first day with sun, should be another couple days of rain on the way.

I think that may have been someone else you are thinking of. My main concern is perhaps there was a few that were too far gone, yet I dried and kept them anyway? As well, I was just microdosing, so taking tiny amount.
Also, after like a month after being fully dried, what could be in there that survived? Just wondering if anybody has heard of anything of the sorts. I am 100% sure each of these were p. alleni.
If anything, I may just toss them, and make sure that this next season I get a few fruits from my patch and I can just pick them in their prime and keep those for future microdosing. It's like I'm pretty damn sure it's not the mushrooms, I had microdosed them without any sort of issue for about two months. It was only within 24 hours after getting my second COVID shot that all this started happening to me - about two weeks after my last microdose.
Thnx for the input all.

the issue isn't that there might be still live bacteria in there. bacteria and fungi can produce toxins while degrading their food which can also make you ill. so even if the dehydrating or even sterilization would kill all the microbes, the metabolites can still make you sick.

that's normal for a second shot. the better your immune system, the more it can fuck you up.

I tend to get fucked up from even flu shots. Except last year.
I definitely think that if you've picked mushrooms that were too old, there could have been a bunch of bacterial/mold toxins. Definitely not something to mess with, I always cringe when I see people collecting specimens that are obviously dead, but to each his own. I personally only collect prime specimens.
If I were you I would ditch your stash just to be safe. You will feel relieved ultimately, trust me.

Your cracking me up BU40!
The majority of the population living today is too young (including me) to remember the devastation of Polio but it has been virtually wiped away by the success of the vaccine. Our growing distrust in government and ruling powers is warranted and I lean towards that side but also believe in parts of science and medicine and vaccines are one part the human apes have gotten right.
I’ll get back on track now. Great to see some of you all’s wood lovers starting to fruit! Getting me excited for the fall when I expect mine to flush.

My three azure tubs are colonized and appear ready to be moved outdoors.
Is there any tek that discusses the specifics of an outdoor bed for wood-lovers? This is my first outdoor grow and my first wood-lover grow. I have done a lot of searching and reading but am not finding specifics on things like ideal depth (I see 10-20cm in some places), whether to layer or mix fresh chips with the spawn chips, ratio of fresh chips to spawn (I see 1:10 to 1:20 in some places), casing layer thickness (I plan to use dried oak leaves as my casing layer) and any sizing considerations like is there an ideal width/length and/or total volume?

I would say there are too many variables to have any said and done ideal specifics. If you can navigate on mycotopia waylitjim has a lot of good journaling, sorry for not sharing a link but I cannot navigate that site. on here the best journal may be this https://www.shroomery.org/forums/showflat.php/Number/20957157 Biggest thing is work with your conditions, and materials available.
