Looks good to me, they look like they weren't going to flatten out anymore. Those are some some meaty looking fruits. Nice job dude.

He was talking to me asking why I still call them Cyanofriscosa, then stating that the genus isn't capitolized. See, you have to be able to speak cronicr. Most importantly, Moricz, you are not dumb.

When Croncir posted that, I had to do some research to figure out why he was asking that, lol. I didn't know that was an in proper name for allenii. I had always thought it was a different species. Come to find out it has never been a published name and is a California thing, or at least that's what the wiki said.

I think it's time for me to eat some crow here.....
That hickory split so cleanly that I thought I would set up a glovebox and split it again and grab some of that clean fresh looking rhizo myc and try to clone that way.
I did clarify that I only struck the block once and it split twice. I should have been more suspicious of that.
I was unable to make another clean split exposing fresh myc. I looked back at photos and discovered the hickory was already cracked at the site of the second split which contained the myc in the picture.
Sorry guys. At this point I am doubting that I have a wood penetrating ovoid. I will edit my original comment to clarify things for readers so no one gets carried away.
Disclaimer: I suppose it's not impossible that ovoid can penetrate solid wood but if the one in these photos does it clearly needs more time and moisture to do so.

From what I have been reading lately, I know kind of envision the logs acting as slants. It is a huge food source to help it survive long term while nature throws it smaller meals in the form of twigs and leaves and what not.

There is pins, or what looks like about to be a fruiting patch under the leaves. Id rather not even mess with for a pic. It is there M.O. You see none here, none there, and then spot one and notice that they're all over if you look hard enough. Try not to disturb the microclimate guys.
kinda feel like i been messing with the microclimate when i go out and take pics..
right on when you say about not seeing some then spotting a ton all over
