    #2466581 - 03/24/04 07:21 AM (12 years, 8 months ago)

Hello so my sister's brother in law, etc... well there is some of the cubies that have a partially or totally black caps. They occur on small, underdevelopped mushrooms, some of them grow together with other shrooms and only one is affected.
- Is it contam ?
- Shall they be removed ?
- What else should be done about this ?
Thanks for all info and help, my sister's brother in law is very tensed as this is his first grow...

those are aborts. you'll almost always get some aborts with every flush. nothing to worry about.

aborts will stop growing, and the caps will start to get dark and often kinda pointy. you'll learn to recognize them. just harvest them with the rest of the flush when you harvest.
