Can this cause Mold?

Can Too much moisture in the jar cause mold? I used the maximum fruiting formula and forgot to loosen the jar. Is that what could have caused the mold?

lots of moisture and no air exchange = bacteria and usually mold.

honest mistake buddy!
I too use the maximum fruiting formula=1/2 cup verm,1/4 cup brf,60cc's water topped with 1/4 cup dry verm.Sometimes I need to loosen my lids due to excesive moisture and sometimes I dont have to - you just have to pay attention your babies needs and adjust accordingly.
