Yeah, that's bullshit. Going from the Earth to Mars is like going from the Earth to the Moon in the same way that drunkenly ambling to 7-11 is like taking a walk to Australia.

Between this, Tesla and hyperloop it's looking like Elon Musk could be as important as Stephen Hawking or Einstein.

You can't ever back up anything you have to say, just like in my Astrophysics for People in a Hurry thread. All you did was bad mouth Neil DeGrasse Tyson and claim he was absolutely wrong about the section on Omega I typed out but wouldn't provide anything beyond that to back your claim.

I honestly forgot about that thread because I really didn't give a shit.
Reading pop science doesn't really give you an informed opinion on anything, FYI.

Pop science? That's not even a term. It's astrophysics not Katy Perry. I guarantee you haven't had a career in astrophysics for 20+ years, a renowned Expert In Anything little alone Astrophysics. Also that particular book is filled with facts not opinions.
But You're right you didnt give a shit about the topic. You Just wanted to act like you are smarter then Anyone and everyone to stroke your ego.

It's more like trivia than astrophysics. You know how people praise people like Tyson for teaching science without "all of the boring stuff?" That boring stuff is the actual science. It's not a matter of pride so much as it is a matter of fact that without all of "the boring stuff" you are (at best) just stringing factoids together within the context of a tenuous, ad hoc concept of cause and effect that is based in an appeal to a self proclaimed authority as opposed to observation and logic.
Neil Degrasse Tyson doesn't have a 20+ year career in astrophysics either, by the way. It's just good for business to pretend that he does.

Nah, no one has ever said that. You just made that up. I googled around for a little bit and couldn't find anyone ever praising NDT for teaching science without "all of the boring stuff".

The fuel efficiency of one taco is not significant enough to launch a single taco into space with modern fuel burning techniques. Therefore the fuel outweighs the cargo, which would be primarily tacos. Every taco added to the fuel load would cost many more tacos to put into space than the one taco going.

Well that settles it, doesn't it?
So, when are you going to pick up your first textbook on tensor analysis or astronomy? Hell, are you even planning on learning how to use a telescope (radio or visible)? Can you even find your way around the sky on a clear, dark night? None of that stuff is difficult to learn, but Neil Degrasse Tyson sure the crap ain't gonna teach it to you. It's pretty inglorious stuff, vis a vis one's reputation as the smartest person in the room, seeing how it's considered well within the abilities of the average cub scout to master those tools and concepts.
