Anyone play?  If you do, share your most impressive city

I got it on release but haven't touched it since. I'd be interested in seeing some crazy cities, though! It might give me some motivation.

I'll post mine in a bit.  Played about 16 hours over the weekend. Pretty fun game, especially if youre a fan of the original sim city

Went kind of crazy with the Mass Transit DLC,
then ended up quitting after downloading a ton of mods all at once
and not being sure which ones were broken
that and reached a point where my creativity tanked,
and making standard grid-based cities over and over gets a little meh
even if it can result in a 'successful' city mechanically, it lacks character

uninstalled all mods and just added in ones known to work
should really jump in again some time
they are adding a Green Cities DLC in a few weeks

likely going to pick it up when it drops and jump back into game for sure at that point
similar to the appeal of Mass Transit (like making touristy cities) this particular pack appeals to me
always looking for ways/mods to help mitigate pollution in a sensible manner (ie: recycling centers instead of just garbage dumps)

I used to play this game, put a few hundred hours into it, but would always run into the same problems that forced me to quit.  I would go for large population cities, usually buying all 25 tiles (using mods), and trying to build an absolute fucking masterpiece.  Traffic would become a bitch, limited by the rather simple and dumb traffic AI.  I would eventually download mods to fix this, helping the problem somewhat, but I would eventually run into the single most fatal problem IMO.

My cities would slow down immensly.  Not talking about computer lag, as my computer costs around 3k, top of the line everything ya da ya da ya.  I would be running the game at triple speed, but rotations would take twice as long as regular speed ran at the beginning of the game.  Things just started taking so long, and I couldn't speed it up any more, and just got frustrated.

Anyways great game, if only they could code the any possible sequel to take advantage of all processor cores/threads, then I would play again.  And this game absolutely ruined Simcity for my by being 1000x better, so really just no more city building games for me i guess :p

I fucking love this game, the amount of hours I spend on it is ridiculous

Sadly the game doesn't scale well when you use mods to buy all 25 tiles and get to massive cities.  I think part of the issue is the unity engine and the other is the developer isn't a massive studio so I'm sure there is lots of code that could have been done better.

Still the game is amazing.  I will stop playing it for a year then go back to it and enjoy it all over again for quite some time.  You might want to check out the later expansions.  I know the mass transit expansion did a LOT for traffic (I had quit before it came out, but since came back)
