"The legendary Simon Posford (Hallucinogen, Shpongle) and the highly prolific Bemji Vaughan (Prometheus), Younger Brother is guaranteed to be huge at underground parties and in the homes of trance and chillout fans everywhere."
http://www.psyshop.com/shop/CDs/twi/twi1cd024.html
I haven't listened to the whole cd, yet.. just the samples provided on that site.. but I can already feel some shponglness in them. Just thought since theres so many shpongle fans out there, I'd ask if anyone has this album and what they think of it?

You're right, it is right between Hallucinogen and Shpongle Younger Brother, in my opinion, is Simon Posford's best work since Shpongle II Thanks for bringing it up, Jared! It's about time this album got its own thread Younger Brother - A Flock of Bleeps the title says it all

I woudn't say Younger Brother is in between Hallunogen and Shpongle, I believe they are all in a very different world. They all open a completely new kind of world, for example Shpongle is a travel through jungle and hyperspace, spiralling through infinite fractals.
Younger Brother is more down to earth and different, it dosen't bring the same atmosphere.
That said, Floc of Bleeps was in last years top 3 album! Simply amazing, dreamy, down to earth but fuzzy.

Crumblenaut is indeed my favorite on there as well - that part with the "creaking" noises is one of the most awesome things ever to come from my speakers
