Like any music fiend, I like to play my music LOUD. And you gotta have good speakers for that. In fact, I have a real thing for good speakers.
My dad bought me these for my 16th birthday, so these are coming up for 18 years old now. The rubber started to perish round the cones over the last year and they've been sounding terrible. Took me fuck tons of research to locate the proper spec replacement cones (on the left, have done all 4 now), but got them all soldered in today and they sound amazing again!
The first couple of songs I played LOUD on them brought me to my knees in tears of joy and gratitude...
So after that highly emotional experience brought on by speakers, I figure, what's the rest of the gang running? Pretty sure there's some die hard music heads around here. Show me air moving porn.

Sorry for the big pic.....
These are what I have. They're nothing special but actually sound pretty damn alright. They are Mitsubishi "branded" but I believe they were actually made in the USA by some more well known audio/speaker maker. They're around 15 years old now that I think about it, but they still sound just dandy.
I also have a 10 inch subwoofer that matches these speakers....though in my small place the speakers alone can hit the low frequencies just fine. With the sub tho, I melt.
