The wood lovers P. cyanescens and P. azurescens are more potent than the dung lover P. cubensis. So much so that people sometimes get paralysis, breathing and vision problems, and other issues - temporarily only luckily though frightening enough to cause some to stay away from the wood lovers for good.
The wood lovers can be easily grown indoors but might not fruit and it is thought that soil microorganisms are needed for this to happen. I'll chime in and say you can do without agar and grains, inoculate straight onto woodchips and away you go. Good luck!

Different trips? Different potencies? The other two seem to cost more for syringes than the regular cubensis and all seem to be out of stock most of the time. Also harder to grow than cubensis?
Psilocybe Azurescens is the most potent known Psilocybe mushroom. It is similar to P. Cyanescens in appearance, except that it lacks the latter species wavy margin, and often displays a promounced nipple-like bump on the center of its cap, a feature known as an umbo. The easiest way to identify Psilocybe cyanescens is by looking at its cap. Mature P. cyanescens caps have a distinct wavy appearance. This cap also changes color depending on the mushroom’s levels of hydration. It’s caramel to chestnut-brown when moist but fades to pale buff or slightly yellowish when dried. While, Psilocybe cubensis is considered moderately potent compared to other active species.

many woodlover growers use slurries and brf cakes to colonize wood chips. waylitjim and myc are a couple just to name a few. ive seen some pretty good cardboard methods as well.
hell myc pulled off growing woodlovers indoors. he did it in a garage when the temps dropped in a tub on a shelf. i guess you could say its not technically indoors. but he did it.
but he always threw in grass and what not into the bulk subs.
