Hey Shroomery, recently had a search warrant served by my local PD on my home, fortunately they left without pressing any charges. If you're curious this is an AMA (ask me anything) style of thread.

What were they looking for? What was the probable cause?

You supplied very little info for an AMA.. you didn't even say what it was for or how they came about deciding to get the search warrant....

Favorite Bread: anything whole grain. white bread is pure trash
They were searching for "Schedule 1 drugs", aka psilocybin mushrooms
Sorry, I went a little lacking on the details but I posted this a couple hours after it happened.
Yes I am a free man, they left without pressing any charges, I was able to move everything to another location a day beforehand.
The reason they had shown up was police were unfortunately notified by someone with enough evidence to justify probable cause. They arrived around mid-day to early afternoon and as soon as I opened the door I was presented with the search warrant and they went to their business. they didn't find anything illegal but they did make a mess out of the whole house, clothes, dishes, etc are still strewn ALL over the place and I was profusely questioned (why would someone lie about you growing drugs? where are the drugs? etc) but they eventually left
forgot to add: the person who contacted the PD made a threat to me about contacting them, I didn't think they actually would but as a precaution I disposed of everything

Incredibly damn lucky on my part. My active tubs (I couldnt bring myself to just throw them away) went to a friend including a PESA tub grown from a spore sent to me by a very talented shroomerite and im pleased to say the pesa tub alone pushed out 8-9 inch mega shrooms on their 2nd flush out for a total yield of 7 ounces and 13 grams DRY from that single flush.
But yes, along those lines. Landlord entered illegally without warning and took pictures and whatnot. Even though it was illegal they somehow got the warrant.

If a citizen (such as your landlord) breaks the law to gather evidence then it's still admissable in court. If a cop does it, it isn't admissable. Your landlord could still be charged for whatever but the evidence would still hold up.
