Ahhh I hear you man. So I've got a question, do I need to be looking for newer neighborhoods when hunting for weilii or does it even matter. Because from what I've seen it really doesn't. But still I'd like to know

It's been slim pickings lately and I didn't see much today either. I hope we get some action out of Irma.

how old are those? whre the cap is splitting like that? ALSO, how likely is it that those office parks have chemical leeched substrate that you would be ingesting when someone consumes a find growing in such conditions. I prefer a clean environment.

My patch is heavily landscapes and pedicured.  I know for a fact they put chemicals out but I eat em. I'm fine lol

Very nice... has anyone heard of weilii being found in the northern part of the supposed county range? E.g. Northern Forsyth, northern Cherokee or southern Dawson county..)

Thanks. I've been searching quite a bit around northern Forsyth lately with no success in woodland areas. Guess I should shift my focus to landscaped areas.
