Usally with in three to five days. But give it time I've heard of jars taking as long a two weeks to start to show growth.

Wait another day or two, by then you should see some sign of colonization. If you don't see anything come the 7th day, then that's a fairly good indication that you did something wrong when you inoculated your jars.
