Let It Be

I was just watching the Beatles movie Let It Be, and I thought to myself, I've never heard a bad Beatles song. I've by no means heard every Beatles song, just a few full albums (Revolver, Sgt. Peppers, Abbey Road, 1) and assorted songs, but if a Beatles song wasn't great, it was at least good. Is there any Beatles song you can't stand or you just think it's bad?

There is a Let It Be movie? I never knew that. What other beatles movies are there? I know there is A Hard Days Night, Help!, Yellow Submarine and Magical Mystery Tour.

in my opinion...sgt. peppers is the greatest album of all time. sober, or not, that album is rediculous. every time you listen to a song you hear some thing beautiful and new!

It's a film from the recordings of Let It Be and Abbey Road. I downloaded it off Kazaa. The sound is rough, but you see them in the studio, playing, goofing off; it's really cool.

That's a really rare movie! It went out of print years ago and they never re-did it for some reason. I've never seen it.
"Maxwell's Silver Hammer" from Abbey Road was never one of my favorites. Although I hate being the slightest bit negative about The Beatles. They are my favorite band.

Any song involving too much Ringo. They're by no means bad songs, it just that, on a lateral Beatles plane, they kind of fall short for me.

I love the Beatles but some of the songs Paul wrote sound a little cheesy to me, a little like too much like showtunes. Good Day Sunshine, Here There and Everywhere, She's Leaving Home, Penny Lane etc. I think I understand why Wings sucked.

I just watched Let it Be. Paul looks like a ghost, very strange. I almost liked the part where they had that little argument because it's so tame by modern standards. I try to stay out of the whole did Yoko Ono ruin the Beatles debate but like they're all playing all these happy rock and roll songs and she doesn't smile once the whole movie.

I know man, that was really bothering me. And no other band member had their family members there alot (I think Paul's daughter came in for a little bit), so it's really out of place for Yoko to be in the studio all the time.
To the people who replied Ringo's songs/Yellow Submarine, I have to agree with you there. My economics professor had it playing over the PA system when I walked into class this morning (he always has music playing before class, and he tries to find some connection between the music and what we're covering in class, like he's played classical pieces, Good Day Sunshine, and other stuff), and Yellow Submarine is definitely my least favorite Beatles song. I thought it was funny the first few times I heard it, but now it's just annoying.

When I hear Yellow Submarine, I think of a subterranean school bus full of Paul's pot plants a la sea of green.

My Bonnie (W/ Tony Sheridan) Wild Honey Pie Piggies Revolution Number 9 Blue Jay Way Sie Libt Dich You Know My Name (Look Up the Number) Although I like many of these songs... these are some of the most "Notorious," Beatles songs... you should find something you don't like in this list... even if you love the Beatles. Three of these songs are from The White Album... which is a great album... some of the songs don't hold up without the rest of the album.

Blue Jay Way? I love that song!!! But I don't like the Beatles prior to Rubber Soul... OK they were a great pop band and all, but it was just too cheesy for me... after Rubber Soul, they rocked.

I could name a couple of lesser known Beatles songs that I dislike, mostly earlier ones, but they have a huge catalogue of great/legendary songs to make up for them. The only well known Beatle song I'm not a fan of is Penny Lane, I never really listen to it because I find it boring. Fool On the Hill doesn't do much for me either... or was that one of Paul's solo tracks?

I think I agree with QuestionForJoo about Paul. The rest is all cool, Yellow Submarine included (if not preferred), but Paul's shit's just a touch too pop for my tastes. Help! was a great movie though. It's the ski-chase makes it a true classic.
