I found these in February here in Washington. I didn't know enough to take spore prints then, so I don't know what they looked like. I was thinking they were blewitts. Heres the pics (they were pretty frozen when I found them):
I didn't eat them of course but was just curious if I was right, or even close. I hear that blewitts make a good stroganoff if you can find them. I found them under a stand of mixed maple and fir trees, in about 4 inches of twigs and maple leaves.
