I just tried 4 mycobags that fell victim to bacterial contamination. For a second I thought I was making wine?!
My bags were perfectly fine when I recieved them I was very clean during inoculation so I believe the source of my problem was my syrnge.
Mycobag, if you go through them, is a great company though. I told them about my tragic story and they are kindly replacing 2 of them even though its not there fault as the bags were perfect when they arrived. I believe the only reason for replacing is my syringe came from another shroomery sponser.
Im working on getting my syrnge replaced also.
I also just started the PF tec and I feel like Im in more control of whats going on for some reason. Inoculated 2 days ago but Im not even going to look at the jars till day 5.
Anyways, I have heard alot of good things about there bags and Im even willing to give it another go.
Most important thing is probably a clean syringe.
Good luck.

A friend and I got 4 mycobags. My 2 were great, I fruited in a tupperware bin with perelite. I never heard how his bags did cause he gave them to someone to take care of and moved.

remember to keep your incubation chamber and especially the filter patches completely DRY or you are inviting contamination.

Cubes are cubes... that isn't exactly true... but true enough. The cube you wish to grow is the best cube for you. EQ stands for Ecuador (I guess EC is too weird looking).
My bag was from... (...ugh...) Sporebank. Mycobag supplies a good, sterile product though. I believe they are exactly the same product as Sproebank's.
MycoBags are very good. I swear. I'd use MycoBag again before I bought from Sporebank ever again.
http://www.shroomery.org/forums/showflat...part=1&vc=1 There is a great MycoBag link. Also, check the link in anno's post in that thread. Those are the two best MycoBag grow logs I can find.
Mycobags can grow all kinds of shrooms... edible, medicinal and psychadellic. Not just psychadellic shrooms can grow from MycoBags.

It will work. For better results, you will need to do a little more work... for example, read those links.

http://www.shroomery.org/forums/showflat...part=1&vc=1 Daussaulit's grow log... that and the other grow log... linked by Anno... cover all the bases. Fruiting in bag, as a cake, and as a casing.
It is really easy... if you know what you are doing. Keep studying if you want an easy grow.

I got 2 mycobags from mycobag.com and neither one even showed signs of mycelia. I used Golden Teacher spore syringe from sporeworks.com. The only thing that happened is the bag got very puffy.
