bags??? How do i seal?

Hey its my first time usin bags and birdseed. How would you seal your bags? I dont have an iron.Any ideas

I heard someone talk about a preheated oven door once in one of there logs. Irons are very cheap though. I recently got some bags and tested an iron out and it worked. To makes sure I then folded over and taped also. Just make sure whatever you use start with a little heat and work your way up. I made the mistake of turning the iron up all the way and it melted it so fast, then had to turn heat down till I got it right.

Go to a Salvation Army, I bet you could get a iron for a couple dollars.

Or how about heat a peice of metal "not sure what" in a pan on a stove and use that to seal it, or even just use a lighter.

you can always get a zip tie with a wod of polly in the end of the bag for good air exchange or tie tighty with a string zip works best

i don't know if your bags are of the filter patch variety or not, but you can always get a little piece of PVC and some polyfill and do this...

haven't tried it personally, but it seems like a good idea to me.
