At first glance I thought it was some type of Marasmius, or a Conocybe lactea with a thin cap, then I thought Parasola plicatilis, but ultimately I think that it is Coprinellus disseminatus.

Parasola plicatilis

I considered Parasola plicatilis, but ultimately found Coprinellus disseminatus as a better match.

For the future and to improve my skills, would you mind explaining what distinguishing features lead you to feel that the specimen is Parasola plicatilis rather than Coprinellus disseminatus?

Coprinellus disseminatus fruits in large numbers on wood, Parasola plicatilis grows alone or scattered on lawns in direct sunlight.
