Human Reincarnation(Question for Shroomism)
    #2456024 - 03/21/04 01:59 AM (12 years, 8 months ago)

This question is mainly directed at Shroomism(tho anyone else can jump in at any time). Shroomism, you claim that humans have human souls and animals have animal souls, and that therefore humans can only reincarnate as humans. How, then, do you explain the fact that there are more humans alive today than there ever have been in the past? Where did these extra "souls" come from?

I'll forward an answer, though this comes mostly from my own theories (which are largely derived from what Shroomism has taught me).

It's not so much that humans have "human" souls...but that human "souls" are of a higher density vibration (3rd/4th?) than the "souls" of animals of lower vibrations. From what Shroomism has explained, animals (other than dolphins/wales) are only 2nd density vibration.

As for there being more humans now than there was long ago, I don't think there is a limited number of souls. New souls are created all the time as the souls of lower vibrational oganisms progress into higher vibrations. I think that, at one time, all of our "human" souls were actually animal souls. Through many incarnations we progressed into the 3rd density and when that happened we incarnated as a human.

Like I said, this is mostly my personal theories from what I've talked about with Shroomism...so I expect his answer will have more detail :smirk:

What you know you can't explain,
But you feel it;
You've felt it your entire life.
That there's something wrong with the world.
You don't know what it is, but it's there....
Like a splinter in your mind...
Driving you mad.

I think trendal pretty much nailed it..

There is no shortage of human souls in the universe, as new souls are always being created...or appearing from the void.. whichever you prefer. It is said that the soul begins as a spark, an idea from the source of the universe. Also, reincarnation is not limited to one single planet, so souls that have lived previous lives on other planes may choose to serve an incarnation or one hundred on a different planet that is at the level needed for that soul's continued evolution. We carefully plan out our lives prior to an incarnation, as far as what life lessons need to be learned, what karma to balance in this lifetime, and so on.

But like I said, there is no shortage of souls in the universe. Every soul first starts on the non-physical (spiritual) planes, which is a much higher density..it is a very comfortable life as we are connected to creation and all souls and that bond is never forgotten in that plane. The decision to "downshift" into the lower densities is made to continue that soul's evolution. Physical life teaches certain lessons that the spiritual plane cannot offer, and vica versa. But with the endless sea of souls in the spiritual plane, and the new souls being constantly created.. there is always beings that are ready and preparing for incarnation in the physical realm, so as soon as two people conceive on the material plane, a soul is ready to enter into it..

Heres a potentially interesting question: When does a soul enter the body?

the tibetan monks believe the soul enters the body like 49 days after conception or something. Interestingly that is exactly the time when the pineal gland, the source of human DMT and an essential part of dreams, first appears in the fetus.

can you back either of these claims up? I know that the DMT release is in DMT: the spirit molecule, but where does that knowledge come from? Seems like he just made it up. And please back up the other claim about tibetan buddhists please.

Well as ever noticed as more animals of the world become wiped out more and more humans on the earth start to turn up.I guess the animal mind is simply transfering to human.

As for the 49 day thing well thats the number of days the pinal gland is developed in the featus and the same time sex is determined.

Well the pineal gland is also the only part of the human brain that dosent half two side like the left and right hemasphear, the pinal is also responsable for the creation of DMT.

Yeah i also had this thought as i was reading a thread that talked about animal extintions. Transformation takes alot of death. And the human form right now is a luxury when it comes to living beings. So as human becomes the dominant life form, what high vibrational soul wants to keep being an animal when it is faced with that conciouss option?? Just a thought i had, doesen't mean im a firm beliver in reincarnation.

If you read Meher Babas "God Speaks" which is his masterpeice on the evolution of consiousness. its states that a soul starts out in the divine sleep state of nothingness. Then it awakens and says "what am i" it goes through infinite reincarnations of rock - all the way till it gets to human. I forget the exact order of the incarnations. But the humand form is the perfect form that is capable of becoming god realized. Finally after infinite reincarnations and all that jazz the sould finally comes to the realization "i am god"

this may be the shittiest rindition of what hes trying to say but i really recoomend the book.

I've always had trouble understanding why and how some people believe reincarnation...? Then again, I suppose it's like asking why and how someone believes in any sort of spiritual idea.

I'm still curious...reincarnation: why and how did you come to believe it?

I believe in a different sort of reincarnation than most people who believe in it. The most central of all my beliefs is that we are all one, a conclusion which I arrived at both through my experiences with psychedelics and through studying Eastern religions. I believe that all of existence is one conscious entity, and that our egos and physical bodies restrict us from tapping into that consciousness, and instead give us a sense of selfhood. I believe that with the death of the physical body, and the ego along with it, we are reunited with this more fundamental existence and consciousness. And meanwhile, new lifeforms are born with an ego and a physical body, and therefore become blocked from this higher consciousness once again, only to be reunited with it. So it's not that we reincarnate individually. We are all incarnations of the same entity.

Ya, but I don't think a lot of people would accept such a theory, because they're so attached to their sense of self that losing it seems horrible to them. Thus, most beliefs dealing with the afterlife allow them to continue as individuals.

i had this same theory a while ago, i totally agree with you except about being born again "blocked" from this higher consciousness, i believe that everyone will be aware of it in next lifeforms, or maybe not everyone but the ones who are currently prepared to it. love is the key
