My little Mitragyna is not doing good. It looks like it's drying out, all though it has not had it's soil dried out. Perhaps I've overwatered it. I'm guessing it's going to die within a few days.
I'll definetly order more seeds when the source I got 'em from opens again.

Yes. The resolution is horrible, as my camera can't really get its focus on the small seedling

I see it. That soil is pretty bad.

Good to hear that Lipa always a beautiful sight to see new growth! Did the yellowing go away? If so what did you do to cure it?

Indeed it is. Yellowing...? Are you mentioning the plant I posted sev. pgs back? If so, yes for the most part. Well the new growth is coming in red/green (like chroostmas  ), and its moving at a very nice rate too. The one that was straight yellow now has some of the biggest leaves in the bunch. What I did? Well i wanna say it was a gradual improvement, likely after a few soil dressings. The first was crab meal, the second was a little worm casting (maybe that was third, not 100%), and the last was a sprinkle of lime granules and I wanna say I added a little bone meal on top too. I wanna say I did a second sprankle of worm poop recently too (worm shit is so bomb). But currently all my plants are side by side in a clustered little green house, so I often loose track of things and get one mixed up. Been crazy busy but I wanna post some flicks soon. Yeah that yellow one, "jerry", who is my third plant (2nd clone offa momma) is now either the most gorgeous or if anything one of the top dawgs in my little green corner of the world

Thanks for asking pine :hippie:

One more thing, maybe this is a factor worthy to mention too... But we've had some of the most rain ive seen during the summer months than I've ever seen in my life. Damn near everyday we have rain. The humidity is disgusting every night! Well for me
, I'm sure my krats are loving it. Sadly Not all my plants feel is way. Lost a few cacti from this excessive moisture :nonono:

Ive noticed little brown spots on one of my bridgesii. The humidity is back after a couple weeks' break here in the south. My little Plant is doing great, about ready to re-pot.

Speaking of bad soil, what do you guys recommend? I've heard to use the Miracle Grow for Cacti and Succulents. Seems they have improved the formula and it doesn't get bone dry and hard af to water.

Yeah, all this rain on the east coast has been crazy for sure. My Kratom
Is loving it, and outgrowing the space I have for them. This is a view of the kratom canopy. The plants are really crowded.

This is what happens when you toss your spent cakes in the garden.

This is a comparison of a Bumble Bee and a Green Malay. Both were rooted in the summer of 2015. The GM really struggles to live in North America. It's growth season seems to be shorter than the others, but once it starts growing it's like a rocket! It really is too bad because I like its leaf the best.

That BB is at least 8 feet tall. It will get a severe pruning just so I can bring it inside this October. I'll resist the urge to root everything I cut.
This year I'm going to really chop them all and it will be my first real crop. I got lazy and didn't do it last year. The way that I over winter my plants, there is no reason not to chop and collect the leaves. They eventually fall off during the winter, and the ones that remain will drop when new ones start growing in the spring. I've never completely stripped my plants, is there any reason that I shouldn't? I'll have a shit ton of leaves to deal with, I'll need to find something better than a coffee grinder.

Very impressive Jizz  gives me some hope of better days to come :super:

Coffee mill has always done just fine for me, yet I haven't had as large a harvest as you. Sometimes actually stripping the main stem off each leaf w my hands over the grinder can help make it less chunky to deal w. Enjoy bro

I need to make some clones because my aunt needs pain relief. Last clones were a total bust.

I haven't tried any of the home grown yet lol. Been restraining from picking them but next year I'll have several trees that I should be able to pick a lot from.  I'll give you some of what I have been using from the Internet. Red, green, white all of them are 'maeng da'

Green Malaysian is def suffice for pain relief. They all have analgesic properties yet some are def better than others. Even an Indonesian farmer I was briefly chatting w, use to mention how happy he was to have green malay on his menu. I guess, according to him, Indonesia borders some of Malaysia and some of their supposed species often spills over the border and they have a chance to harvest some. He spoke very highly of GM whenever it was discussed.

And sheet... I gotta get some new clones going too ferrel. Def about that time.... But honestly, big picture maybe its not (speaking for just me here). Considering that winter is still a few months away. By the time it hits, the clones willve gotten larger and more imp they'll be In Larger pots... Which means larger masses of soil. Which normally is no biggie, except that this last year was a constant fight with fungus gnats. I lost a loph and a lovely RVT. So this year I may take a diff approach. Maybe late Oct when our weather starts to cool down. But yeah after this last year, I never wanna deal w that shit again. I dont think I have it 100% under control but its at least 97% under wraps. It took a hot minute and cost me quite a bit of patience.
