The band's 1978 performance celebrates the last concert at the music hall.
It is starting now on my local PBS channel,check yours maybe its on yours too. :gd_icon:

damnit all...i never get to watch the cool ass pbs shows...i have direcTV and there pbs is shitty...cept for austin city limits and that bluegrass thing.

closing of the winterland is ALWAYS on pbs.. this is like the 4th time it's been on that i know of.. but it's only 2 hours of it, and they cut into the songs to talk about the show... pretty cool commentary, but i want to see the whole thing....

pbs is cool for showing it though.

just get the DVD... the pbs special is a tease. they dont even show the best songs

i have the 3 disc DVD available for trade, its over 6 hours long! including a 2am conversation with bob weir, ken kesey and others!

yeah, I get about 3 pbs stations and I've found it on all three of them over the past few months. Although, I never did get the DVD, I guess I just can't afford these lavish gifts :frown:
