Soaking grains.

So to prep grains you soak for 12-24 hours. From what I've read hot water is key to hydrate the endospores. My question is would it be beneficial or detrimental to change out the water once it cools with warmer water during the soak. Thanks.

Endospores don't soften or hydrate from a soak. the soak is to hydrate the grain

The pressure cooker kills endospores.
Soaking makes more endospores than you started with. They're either spores or in the process of germination which requires hydration.

From my understanding, endospores wake up during the soak. The grains hydrate during the boiling and pc ING kills the endospores.

Just what I've gathered. Could be wrong
..

Endospores can germinate during a soak but you don't need to do it the PC kills dormant endospores just fine
