From what i have read. Usually when there is contam and the mycelium is likely losing, they try to fruit just to survive. However, sometimes with things like bulk. The substrate could be pretty compact and the mycelium just cant get in there to colonize it so it assumes it is a barrier.

I dont know what you should do with them. I let cronicr handle that.
