After about an hour and the betel nuts have softened is it best to spit them out like you would chewing tobacco or just eat them up??

Edited to add: I have read that you usually spit the juices out like chewing tobacco, I have been swallowing the juices is there anything wrong with this?

I'm relatively addicted to these betel nut chews. I dont even get any effects off them. They just taste so incredibly good. Like little indian breath mints...

The ones I chew, Parag, do contain lime w/ them...but yeah, the juices swallowed give me a tummyache, and I hate to look like a tobacco-chewing redneck spitting in a can.

Lime as in Calcium Oxide (CaO), not lime juice.
