The DNC is so corrupt that Hillary rigged and stole the election from Bernie. I was very surprised how the Bernie supporters didn't even make a huge fuss over it. What I'm saying is who ever the DNC chooses to be their nominee, will be their nominee regardless of what the Democratic people want. In my opinion..

I can't see a change if and or when it happens going back to the middle.
Every switch seems to be getting more extreme.
For this reason I see him as at the very least a contender.

Yeah, he showed his cuck feathers and people will not forget that. His own supporters are by and large disappointed in him, except of course for the true believers like we see here.
You generally get only one grab at the brass ring. A strong competitor who didn't get the nomination can come back but bernout was never strong. Made a few speeches but didn't care about any damn emails, didn't hit her over benghazi, said nothing about the cheating with hill getting the questions that were going to be asked in the debates, said not a word about the massive and undeniable cheating hill and the dnc did against him. That is not the mark of a tough competitor, its the sign of a weakling. And the likelihood is that he got a payoff. Its probably sitting in a swiss account, he may have a bag of loot in safe deposit, probably some spending money too. He did buy a vacation house right afterward. There were other things too, he is done, not so much because of age but everything.
He may have simply folded from threats. They send emails with a photo of his grandaughter and the hint she might have an accident. Everyone who is that deep in politics knows the clintons are killers. Its the carrot and the stick, plata o plomo, take the money or take the bullet.

-------------------- I am in a minority on the shroomery, as I frequently defend the opposing side when they have a point about something or when my side make believes something about them. I also attack my side if I think they're wrong. People here get very confused by that and think it means I prefer the other side.

I just got an email the other day, plugging Cornel West and begging for fundraising money to draft Bernie to a breakaway party. I would give money to that if i thought it was a possibility. Bernie's old, but fuck it, he can still run a mile faster than me, and he can drain from the free throw line. I think he's good. It would help to have an idea of who he might take as a running mate. Tulsi, maybe? who knows? As far as the Dem establishment, I don't know who they want yet, but it clearly isn't Biden, because a few weeks ago, several outlets were all floating Al Franken on the same day.

Franken is alright. I lost a lot of respect for him during the last election, but he's been earning it back. He wouldn't be my first choice for President, i can tell you that.

People saw him bow to hill and take it in the rump after she cheated him. It would be hard for even the media to wipe that image away. Bernie will be doing well to hold onto his present seat. He reached the level of his incompetence when he ran for pres.

He didn't bow to anyone he just didn't want to split the party. No one seriously considered Trump to win yet he did. The dems need a slightly younger progressive candidate that focuses on the working class and goes after the 1 percent. Social issues should be a low priority focus on JOBS and the democrats could seal a landslide election victory in 2020.
