    #2453573 - 03/20/04 05:45 AM (13 years, 10 days ago)

Could it be bruising from to dry growing conditions? some pics i came across had them slightly green looking, but then they seem to clear up later on....

anyoneelse seen this?

Could be bruising. Is there a non-mushroomy smell? i.e. sour or yeasty, if so avoid.

Letting them get too dry can cause bruising, also so can water if sprayed directly onto the caps.

If in doubt don't use them, you can always grow more

sounds normal, if they smell bad or the green is fuzzy....that's bad
