putting in more work late at night 2 nights in a row so far look busy the next 2-3 nights. Did my first pour agar with the glass petris. Overall condensation was not as bad as expected. I started pouring once the temp was down to 117-119. These where used to put golden oysters to agar.

Nice.
This TAT Wombat is starting to decide who it is. Some went to LC already as an early teaser.

This Playa Uvita was in the fridge as a vial of lc for the last couple years give or take. It is first generation from spore. Trying to get a couple hundred more prints ready. This culture has been by far the most productive, best, and easiest of the Playa so far so it seemed like a good time to revive it. LC stores amazingly well in the fridge for a long time. A drop on agar goes a long way towards a quick revival.

Cant make up my mind on which of the many transfers should happen next so I'll call it till tomorrow. Try to catch those little pieces of patterns in the moment. They grow exponentially from every point of change.

Doing a bit too much too late and forgot to turn my AA75X to med for the long haul. Just set an outlet timer and wandered off. Definitely dumped some steam while I was eating midnight snacks.

Almost finished prepping a monotub; just a little top layer remaining, maybe some more liner trimming and it will be set. I'm pretty sure the grain spawn is a mix of melmak, TAT, and possibly some other sort of albino variety so i'm interested to see what happens here.
This is the referenced "some other sort of albino variety" pinning in a shoebox currently.
I had this mushroom related dream the other night..
...it begins with me limping down a long hill. My foot has been run over by my ex (but here her hair is dyed red, she's emaciated, holding a single syringe between her teeth - like a pirate with a dagger - and she's naked) as she drives past me blaring her car horn. For some reason I'm in a black suit that has seen better days. As cars pass me I notice they are occupied by dark shadowy figures who radiate a hard-to-pin down force. During this part of the dream I'm pretty sure I became completely erect but that's just a guess. As I continue to limp down the hill I come by a very large, expansive field. The sad brown hills roll endlessly before me under a steel gray sky. Far in the distance I notice quantities of every species I admire - ovoids, hoogshagenii(hoogshageniii?), pure blue panaeolus, clumps of P. weraroa, and waist-high bushes of enigma. Note that strangely enough if I had to approximate it is here that my erection vanished. My heart rises in my chest and begins beating hard. I run towards the fungus, tripping over my neck tie that has increased dramatically in length as it begins to strangle me. My heart beats faster as my vision begins to darken but I just manage to loosen in and continue to run. When I approach the mushrooms I get on my hands and knees in front of a weraroa patch but each time I go to pick one my hands pass through it or I just can't get a hold on it. As hard as I try I cannot pick any of the mushrooms. My heart sinks, member rises, and I stand up to notice a cottage in the distance. It is mahogany with warm, mustard yellow windows enticing me with visions of stone hearths and moose carpets. Without moving I am in front of the cabin. I could see inside the window from this distance. There are so many people and I could tell they are family. It is smiling time; people are holding babies and patting shoulders. I feel my face burning warm. A child turns her head to look through the window at me and then, very suddenly, a hand reaches out and grabs her long blonde hair, pulling her violently out of view. I woke up there...
This was during a 3 hour nap I took after work and studying for 10 hours. Usually the more vivid dreams I have are during naps in periods of sleep deprivation. I've also been not using as much THC, which has led to a sharp increase in the poignancy/rememberability of dreams.
Anyway, I end up doing most cultivation activity around this time. Some agar is in the PC currently, loving the use of activated charcoal over food dye. This batch of agar is entirely cornmeal, which has been giving me surprisingly good results lately.
Happy midnight.

Well i tired this method tonight Spitball's Quick Rye Prep except I used whole oats. Soaked them in hot water for 30 minutes, and they look nice and hydrated.
