Just quickly drilled the shit out of this tub. 27QT pan mono for the win. Hopefully I spaced the holes out right and didn't make too many. I drilled it out like I would for cubes. Just have to let it colonize now. I even stuffed my last giant oyster bag instead of dumping the leftover spawn in the yard. I'm fucking tired as hell. I've been pushing my body to hard with my condition and paying the price. But hey I got 4 big oyster bags and this pan tub done. Tuesday is reishi bag day. A week or so from then I'll have a purple mystic bin colonizing and hopefully some KSSS and PESA for two more 64 quarts. I got plans.

Cool guys! Got my 4 "PEU" clones transferred into 2 receiving jars a piece (8), packed a whole sheet of LGT prints, took some Malabar coast, and eat's AA+ to grains this evening @ two receiving jars per variety. Started another bulky Mexicana grow, inoculated a 3 grain masters with copius amounts of Coplandia LC, and got two sleeves of 25 plates a piece pounded for the Penis Envy cloning program.
Didn't make it to the inoculations, and transfers in time before it was time to pour plates, but I did get in there, and unearth what oddities there are.
- Psilocybe Serbica. - Shooting Star (cube). - Xapuri (cube). - Wikidon Cube). - Psilocybe Samuiensis. - Conocybe Cyanapus. - Psilocybe Stunzii. - Panaeolus Cinctulus. - Pseudo Aztecorum.
Fingers crossed that all of these varities give us some myce to work with.

Something funny about penis clones. And woah that's a lot of stuff!!
Update on the pan tub that you asked for Inspir3. 24 hours later and the thing is halfway there. Sweet!

yes and this also belongs in the confessions thread but i think it's gonna be a night of grain prep that will roll into agar work. i've been slacking on some transfers but hope to make up for lost time by making grain masters in pint or half pint jars and then using them to make LI for expansion. here we goooo

I didn't do anything I wanted to do today. I did manage to case my pan bin and reorganize a few things so my oysters have more space. I had the bags colonizing up against one another due to lack of space and they were generating an insane amount of heat. It was actually pretty amazing how hot they get. Tomorrow I may have a bit of trouble breaking up the reishi mycelium. I was just too tired today and couldn't do it.

Doing Pasty's easy agar in the PC right now. My first mycological agar moments shortly ahead! I work nights and tonight is my "night before" work tomorrow night, and I stay up late to adjust rapidly. Midnight is a great time.

Cool. Heck yea. I totally agree. Jjust soaking some lids in bleach water, soaking some wood chips two different styles, for two different applications, for two different species of mushroom. Fruitied some blue oysters, and washed some tubs. Cleaning out some dirty LC, grain, and cake jars, and am cleaning/boiling out my media bottles, currently.

This is just one week later. Ganoderma sessile an extremely aggressive fungi. I better get it out of the jar tomorrow before it turns into a brick or breaks free from the jar. Holy shitake.

Those are past the point of no return as far as shaking goes. You could try to dig it out with a spoon into your bags but chances of g2g are probably gone. It turns into a damn near solid mat that won't break apart, just becomes a slippery rubbery mess.

Wow, hamloaf. Had to look up Conocybe Cyanopus. Can't wait to see what comes of that. Looking it up, it sounds like it could be a few months
Are you possibly looking for sclerotia to isolate?

Yeah I know. I'll cut them up just enough to mix into the substrate and then seal in bags. I had no fantasies of g2g. Unfortunately my energy is finite and I chose the more important projects and put this off a bit.

Hi guys! The woodchips are for some fully colonized Azurescens & ghost fungus spawn. In about a week I'll have some pan stipticus to spawn to bulk. Anywho, for the ghost fungus I supplemented with about 10 % wheat straw & 5 % bran/spent coffee grounds (for nitrogen, because I don't have any green compost yet)/gypsum. The wood for the Azurescens simply only got about a 4 % gypsum supplementation. The woodchips are all loaded into bags, and in the sterilizer warming to temp. What do you all have going on today?
