I remember reading of somebody's success using a spore print inside a spray bottle and than spraying the spores. However the technique was not elaborated on, can anyone throw in their .02 as to making this a functioning way of spreading say, wood-loving species?

Go out and buy a pesticide pump spray. About 2-3 gallons. Fill it with distilled spring water and squirt about four DARK syringes in there. Shake it, Pump it, Spray it... after that, pull up your pants do the same with the pesticide sprayer.
I have done "Moss Slurry" that way. Moss takes forever to grow, unless you add beer to the mix! I swear... Yeast works also, but beer works better! (For the moss, not the shrooms!)

Have you figured out a way to 100% sterilize a spray bottle? If not, you will also be spraying + + + possible contam's.
Also - when you SPRAY any fluid mist, it picks up contam's from the air it travels through.

Yeah and you'd have to be spraying it on something pasteurized and buk doesnt do so great germinating spores. Doesnt sound like a good idea to me...

I thought this was for general out-side planting... not for bulk cultivation... (It is hard trying to sterilize the world! Sooo much contamination, sooo little alcohol!)

Try a HEPA filter. Maybe 2.

You can put a black tarp down on areas you want to inoculate and let sun sterilize the ground and then spray the spore solution. Shrooms like morels this is yoir best chance at growing them in my opinion.
