When you read a post, do you actually read what is there or are you jumping the gun based on a few words?

One thing I've noticed especially in the Other Drugs Discusion and General Question's is the lack of willingness to help even when someone is stating that they 'know nothing' about a subject and even when the poster appears to be quite knowledgable still no help, just people moaning and complaining.

Complaining that the person is not respecting the drug.  Complaining that the person is an idiot.  Etc Etc

Take a look in ODD and you will see.  There are plenty of replies to posts, I feel like sending these people an IM saying 'Did you actually read the post or just answer because you want to have a virtual pop at someone, despite the fact you do not know this person at all!'

For instance I asked about an extraction and it is assumed I know nothing so I get told I will end up with a sludge.

Well actually I do know something and one thing for sure, the result would not be a sludge!

I see this happening to other new shroomerites all the time, egotistical responses saying 'I know the answer haha but I'm not telling you, because I've judged you'.

I mean when its posted in something like General Question's what the fuck else do you expect but just that.  I might start defending newbies to this site/culture because theres a whole squadron of persacuting idiots on here waiting to throw there 2 cents of shit in. :mad2:

Yes i often respond/react from the mood I'm in rather than objectively. Sometimes I'll re-read a post a couple of days later and feel an entirely different response.

I feel for the people who's job it is to remain objective all the time, like the mods, the strain to remain superhuman could result in migranes and all sorts of irritable quirks. We are all human after all and thank god we have time to reach a different conclusion. Let's hear it for the mods...(applause)
