health problem questions

I'm just wondering if there are any health concerns when growing. like breathing in spores or breathing around casings or cakes? Or anything like vermiculite or what not. I know that some contams like mold are no good for the lungs. but are there any other concerns? if this is in the worong place mods please move it to the right place. thanks again and grow safe:)

wet the perlite while it is still in the bag. sometimes vermiculite is dusty. i never heard of spores being a problem

If you got a casing / cake contaminated with green mold (a
huge contamination area) try to avoid breathing that... :shake:

Spores are often a health problem with commercial (legal) mushroom growing.It's doubtful you would be growing cubes on that scale tho'...

Dont go crazy with lysol either, a guy posted a few days ago that he burnt his lungs from breithing in the lysol all the time but he was useing WAY to much, be carefull with that.

Hey thanks alot to everybody that posted. I did read about that lysol, ouch that mush suck. I'll be careful with the lysol. Also i'm glad i don't use perlite, gotta love PMP.
