White "flakes" are pretty common on caps, and slow growth could either be from contamination, genetics, or unfavorable conditions.

Your SGFC needs to be elevated off the table at least a couple inches so that air can come up through the holes in the bottom. The way you have it flat on the table makes the perlite useless at the moment.

I do have good rh and temps that are. recommended. I think i got over bearing with the misting. Overzealous and excited. Ive got several years with MJ gotta apply the basics like to much love will hurt not help. Thanks for responding i appreciate it.

Caps opening when the fruits are tiny + lots of aborts can mean the cakes are waterlogged. Pick them up, are they heavy?

Heavy is relative, and you shouldn't be asking a noob to judge the weight of cakes. You'd have to have had some successful cakes first to be able to judge.

White flakes are fine. They are like the ones u see on Fly Argaics. I forget the technical name.

And your cake looks overly wet. They should be moist but not soggy. Dont overwater them. But keep them moist. Balance the watering on your cakes so its not too little or too much.
