I don't know what that is... I'm asking yall.
Holes are to make up for the summer heat where I live.

I mean, it kindof makes a tiny bit of sense. but if it's that hot I suggest just ditching the chamber all together

Maybe I'm wrong, but I feel like you're not offsetting the heat enough to justify the extra work dialing in a tub with way more holes. Drying out your tub is probably way more likely than a huge heat differential. The lids aren't airtight and you could just make the same holes less tight. Or pull the top Poly out.

Holes are for FAE, not Heat. YES fresh air can lower temp, but not enough. Extra holes means it has a better chance to dry out, at least IMO.

Right. That's my logic. I know some heat will escape, but not enough to justify that. The different in temperature between the outside and inside of a tub can't be THAT much anyway. A PF Tek jar is pretty sealed by comparison and only swings like what, 5F?

fan in grow room could help too. it would move some air(with heat) thru room.

So this is what i am up to today, We got pasty plate cultures, substrate plates of Colombian, I got clones of Lepiota Naucina, and Macrolepiota Procera. Abd Cakes: Kramer, Brf, 50/50 rye/Brown rice flower:
50/50 cakes on the left and BRF on the right:
 Kramer cakes:

Lepiota Naucina transfer from wild:

Bottom of large substrate plate:

My current plate tribe substrate plates on the left and agar on teh right:

The little one on the left was oninuculated and unwrapped to test the integrity of the room/container/micropore tape, it has 0 growth after about 3 weeks so far.
I think i much prefer to pull transfers out of substrate plates and going to agar from there, or just pinning or even inocing something else. While I was still getting isolates waiting for zones on agar I just grabbed a rhizo from substrate and it looks like a pure isolate in two steps. I am going to make LI out of some sub plates, Inoc Rye grain, with some, and make a EU style grow kit with another, just for the hell of it.

Looks like It could be reishi to me, they spread super fast, I've got grain jars of three different kinds of ganoderma right now that I made on 7/7 and they look like they'll be fully colonized in another day or two.
