Colonizing your substrate (compost)
    #24488564 - 07/17/17 12:47 AM (3 years, 9 months ago)

When you are ready to mix your grain spawn with your compost, do you all then let the compost colonize in the dark, as you do with grain (rye berries)? Or do you put it out in the light right away? I would think you would let THAT colonize in the dark as well, then introduce light to get some pinning started. What do you all think is the best way to go about this?

This is my "go-to" about lightning and pinning. Hope it helps. At least it's very informative.
