well, one syringe could grow pounds if you used it right. but with cakes plan on doing 12 cakes and only having ten survive and if your lucky you will just just over 4 grams dry per cakes

Well if you were to use the honey tek (the one I used is on Drool Donkey) you could theoretically make that syringe last forever. Just continue to innoculate a sterilized jar of honey water with previously colonized honey water, and volia ~ you can have as much innoculant as you want.

It's hard to say how much you will get out of a cake, it depends on environment, tek, and much more. You could case it, or just leave it as a cake. There is too wide of a range without more details...

I don't know if you will get exactly double the results, but you may increase them. The only reason you wouldn't get double is because by cutting it in half you cut in half the amount of fungus fruiting, but on the other hand, you are roughly 1.5xing the fruiting surface, which ups your yeild...
