my buddy has a pk cake, and has just picked 2 mature shrooms off it( there were only two large shrooms) , he was wondering if he could not dunk and just leave the cake in the fruiting chamber and it will begin the second flush automatically

you could dunk it for 12 to 24 hours... but you could just let the rest of the pins form...


if it looks dry, then dunk it.

Pins will certainly form but you will probably get less and the fruits will not be as large. Adding water does not cost you a penny and will increase your yeild so just dunk it!
