I thought these looked like liberty caps when I first came across them. It recently rained and I picked them from a field in the city when it was dark. I looked at some look alikes, noticed mycenas, and other psychoactive look alikes. I'm just curious what the specie is or if they're active. Thanks in advance

If I was to hazard a guess, conocybe albipa would be it.

You should, but always compare the id'so to what you actually have.

I have to say Docs never steered me wrong, but looking at a pic and looking at the real thing is a different story.
