would you spawn? you have spawned a lot more bacterial grain than I have and I would take your advice over mine

Unusual indeed, especially considering it was spawned to fruiting conditions. It's one of two shoeboxes in a big tote with 2" holes. What does rhizopus do?

Then I would say definitely rhizopus which is a pin mold, is more tolerant of fresh air, and will form black spore specs on the ends of the strands. In fruiting conditions pre first flush, dactyllium wouldn't have a prayer.

damn i was smitten and you had to burst my bubble.

mushroom therapy i would put a grain you agar sure because why not? you have mycelium already going and you can have something good and transferable quickly. i always try to have as much stuff going as possible and then use what looks the best and throw the rest in a pile somewhere.

I wouldn't be suprised if those didn't make it to the spawn stage. Extremely bacterial and I would toss before it goes green
